About the Role
Our Experience Strategy practice makes sure the user’s voice is at the center, from early strategic thinking through the design of a product or service. We partner with companies to uncover what people need, want, and feel, then turn those insights into strategies that guide meaningful and intuitive experiences.
Our strategists are curious and creative problem solvers. They design inventive ways to understand what motivates users, translate those learnings into clear opportunities, and collaborate with designers, technologists, and creatives to bring new digital experiences to life. Together, we shape ideas that make products more useful, brands more human, and innovation more impactful.
Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Senior Experience Strategist at R/GA:
On any given day, you might:
- Plan and conduct research to uncover insights about our target audiences.
- Translate research learnings into compelling insights that inspire new ways of thinking and reveal fresh opportunities.
- Lead ideation sessions with cross-functional teams to turn research into actionable ideas.
- Craft strategic deliverables, including value propositions, experience strategies, insights, and opportunity frameworks.
- Collaborate with designers, writers, and technologists to bring an early idea or hypothesis to life as a product or service.
- Contribute to the growth of the Experience Strategy discipline at R/GA by helping shape our approaches, frameworks, and training.
The ideal person:
- Communicates ideas with clarity and impact through exceptional presentation and storytelling skills.
- Applies curiosity and creativity to uncover insights and shape meaningful experiences.
- Builds trusted relationships with clients and internal teams, inspiring confidence in your strategic direction.
- Leads with confidence and clarity, managing multiple clients, projects, and teams simultaneously.
You bring:
- 4+ years of experience in strategy roles within creative, design, or digital product environments.
- Proven experience designing and leading research that uncovers opportunities and informs innovative experiences.
- Expertise in user research, revealing needs, behaviors, and insights that inspire new products and services.
- A strong understanding of interaction design, technology, usability, and experience design principles.
- A track record of developing and launching new digital experiences, products, or services.
Bonus
- Previous experience working within the pharma or health and wellness categories
- A strong understanding of how to balance creativity with compliance, finding opportunities for culturally relevant and emotionally resonant storytelling in highly regulated spaces.

The hiring range for this position is $85,000 to $105,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s applicable skills, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
