What is the opportunity?

The role of Vice President Credit Sales, France works within RBC Capital Markets and is responsible for the marketing of spread products (credit & private placements) to FraBeLux accounts. This role actively expands and enhances both existing clients and new relationships within the Spread product space.

What will you do?

  • Identify key target accounts and focus on a co-ordinated coverage of these clients, ensuring that we are cross selling the entire FICC platform.

  • Aim to be top tier counterparty with our target accounts.

  • Ensure that there is a proactive relationship with trading, strategy and origination; this includes ongoing feedback on client activity and thoughts.

  • Work closely with the relationship management teams to coordinate coverage of accounts.

  • Understand regulatory implications for clients and action with the appropriate team.

  • Ensure that employees understand the RBC vision, as well as support and reinforce targeted behaviours that contribute to RBC goals.

  • Provide focus and clarity in establishing individual goals, driving performance management, supporting career development and rewarding strong performance.

  • Leverage the value in unit, department, and enterprise-wide teams to develop better solutions and achieve a cross-enterprise mindset.

  • Accept and successfully execute change while supporting employees through the process and keeping them focused on business priorities.

  • Review new and updated Firm Policies applicable to your business and communicate such Firm Policies to employees for whom you have supervisory responsibilities.

  • Develop and communicate measurable goals and objectives for your direct reports, ensuring performance standards for each employee are aligned to those of the business.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Extensive credit sales experience covering French clients.

  • Educated to degree level or relevant experience.

  • Excellent management experience with strong communication skills.

  • High level of experience with client needs and objectives to provide innovative and effective solutions.

  • Good knowledge of financial products.
