What is the opportunity?

This is senior FX Risk Solutions Sales role within RBC Capital Markets Risk Solutions Group. The role is client facing role that focusses on optimizing revenue, and leveraging RBC’s strengths to deliver a differentiated, innovative FX offering and having a positive influence on the key strategic priorities of RBC Capital Markets FX.

FX Risk Solutions Sales is responsible for developing and strengthening client relationships through the delivery of customized foreign exchange risk management solutions. This client-centric role plays a pivotal part in the ongoing transformation and growth of the global FX business. By leveraging innovation, collaborating closely with key stakeholders, and applying data-driven insights, the FX Risk Solutions Sales Representative delivers exceptional client outcomes while driving sustainable growth across the Commercial client portfolio.

The level of the position (Director OR VP) will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. Compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary, a variable bonus structure tied to performance, and a comprehensive benefits package. Specific details will be discussed during the interview process and tailored to the candidate's qualifications and the role's requirements.

What will you do?

  • Manage and grow a focused portfolio of approximately 100–150 large commercial clients by building deep, trusted relationships and delivering strategic FX risk management solutions aligned with client objectives

  • Drive FX revenue growth by converting transactional activity into structured hedging and risk solutions, achieving new revenue targets, and expanding multi-product client relationships through cross-sell opportunities

  • Partner closely with regional banking teams, Commercial Rates, Commercial FX, FX Structuring & trading, Execution, and Digital Sales to deliver integrated, client-centric solutions under a unified coverage model

  • Provide consultative FX advisory services, including client education, bespoke solution design, and proactive engagement to convert prospects into long-term active clients

  • Support client acquisition and market expansion through participation in banker-led RFPs, new business initiatives, and the introduction of innovative FX products and capabilities.

  • Support strategic initiatives and projects, model best practice and contribute a positive and "OneRBC" culture.

  • Ensure strong governance and client outcomes by conducting risk assessments, maintaining accurate client profiles and trade documentation, and delivering solutions that meet suitability and regulatory standards

  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention through consistent in-market engagement, responsiveness, and tailored service delivery

What You Need to Succeed?

  • Keen interest in FX markets and strong understanding of FX derivatives (forwards, swaps, options).

  • Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and drive revenue growth.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills for client meetings, Banking Center presentations business development, and internal events.

  • Prior experience in FX sales, risk management

  • Demonstrated success to grow revenue and new client acquisition.

  • Familiarity with the competitive landscape
