Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The global payments landscape continues to evolve due to, new payment rails, ongoing changes in the regulatory environment and new market participants. As an Associate, Global Transaction Banking (GTB) you will have the opportunity to manage and develop RBC’s product suite servicing our global financial institution clients.

We are looking for a client-centric individual who will work directly with our clients, relationship and client management teams and internal stakeholders across RBC (Commercial Banking (CB) and Technology and Operations (T&O), in particular) to deliver tailormade product solutions to our client base.

In this role you will have full responsibility as a Product SME and take responsibility for all initiatives and programs related to this product set.

What will you do?

  • Build subject matter expertise in specific cash management products for GTB’s client base
  • Assist Relationship Management teams with sales enablement
  • Support ongoing business priorities such as developing client presentations, product fact sheets, and responding to client’s Requests for Proposals or Information
  • Assist during client onboarding by providing product support which includes: educating the client on the product capabilities, functionality, reporting options, enrollment process and testing
  • Take One RBC approach partnering with cross functional teams across the enterprise on developing product enhancements or developing strategic solutions
  • Support the broader Product Strategy team to introduce new products and services including development of technology requirements, documentation, marketing materials and risk reviews.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have's:

  • Business mentality focused on revenue generation and client satisfaction
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to impact and influence across multiple cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast faced environment
  • 3+ years’ experience in the Financial Services sector

Nice-to-have's

  • Understanding of RBC payments and cash management services
  • Experience working closely with RBC Payments & Trade Operations
  • Experience in project management in the financial services sector
