Salesforce’s Corporate Security Operations protects the people, facilities, and assets of the company globally! To accomplish our mission, we are seeking a Global Travel Safety and Security Manager to drive forward various initiatives, travel intelligence and risk assessments and to provide associated travel safety and security support as part of a proactive security operations team. Qualified candidates must be able to positively interact with partners across Salesforce and demonstrate ownership of work you're doing. The candidate must be able to build and maintain rapport, understand and adapt to nuances of varied internal customers, and provide robust analysis.
The candidate will be tasked to deliver solutions to:
Enterprise-wide Global Travel Security Intelligence Awareness
Safety, security and travel support
Event, Facility, Regional, and Country Risk Assessments
Drive adoption security standards related to travel safety
Routine intelligence monitoring and gathering
Response to security-related incidents at events that may impact people, brand, and property of Salesforce
Investigation support
The successful candidate will provide analytical expertise to support a variety of multi-functional internal Salesforce clients – headquarters and regional offices – for travel risk, threat assessment and intelligence purposes with the goal of supporting the safety and security of our Ohana!
Responsibilities:
Drive forward various global travel safety and security program initiatives
Help shape and drive the development of the Global Travel Safety and Security Risk Intelligence infrastructure, tools, and processes including development prioritization processes, and reporting and analytical platforms
Customize communication and output to a wide variety of audiences; determine the best audience for data-driven insights
Create dashboards, visualizations, and analyses that surface insights and drive key business decisions; provide interpretation and analysis, or insight along with clearly-stated information, representing both the team and leadership.
Synthesize investigative findings through the creation of reports and presentations that provide a coherent narrative assessing external risk
Gather and analyze data to facilitate improvements in the methodologies, tools and techniques to enable the team to scale and optimize operations to mitigate potential risk.
Deliver accurate and timely documentation of event security planning efforts, incident, and mitigation reporting for global events.
Partner with other teams in Corporate Security Operations, and across Salesforce to exchange threat information.
Key Qualifications:
Travel Safety and Security experience
Experience with project management (i.e. taking an idea from initial scoping through to delivery and adoption).
Strong competency working in web-based tools including spreadsheet programs and app scripts.
Excellent collaboration, analytical problem-solving, project management, and communication skills (verbal and written).
Effective at building trust through relationships.
Experience operating strategic projects with multi-functional partners.
Demonstrable ability to work with highly confidential information.
Ability to distill communications and tailor make deliverables based on a target audience.
Experience influencing others while cultivating relationships with business partners.
Familiarity with Salesforce and our business culture.

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $131,300 to $180,500.Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
