We are looking for a creative, motivated product marketer to drive and deliver innovative product marketing to support the Salesforce Platform’s product portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams to create messaging, positioning, content, events, and enablement.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will lead the development of our go-to-market strategy for the Salesforce Platform’s Developer Environments products, partnering with our sales, enablement and demand generation teams to generate maximum pipeline and revenue. You will grow into an expert in every facet of the Salesforce Developer Environments portfolio and sales cycle, including the creation of technical sales assets, messaging and enablement. The Product Marketing Manager will touch all stages of the sales cycle from demand generation to close, making sure our marketing teams and sellers are supported at every step of the sales cycle.
Responsibilities & Impact
Partner with sales, product and product marketing teams to create go-to-market strategy for global sales teams
Develop Salesforce Platform use cases aligned to our customers’ and prospects’ unique needs, including definition of customer challenges, value proposition and resulting customer benefit
Create innovative and compelling content that can be used by our sales teams including sales plays, pitch decks, 1-pagers, product FAQs and more
Execute product launch plans, working closely with sales leadership, product management and marketing teams to drive demand generation and pipeline
Work with Sales Enablement to design and run sales trainings that help our sales teams generate maximum pipeline and revenue
Build sales & marketing assets that communicate the customer story including videos, case studies, testimonials & more
Build product demos, drive technical product launches and provide input into the product roadmap
Be the Salesforce Developer Environments expert and work with our sales teams to develop Sales Plays and other Go-To-Market programs to find new buyers and up-sell add-ons into existing accounts
Make sure you are constantly learning and having fun!
Required Skills:
5-7+ years of experience in product marketing, industry marketing, corporate marketing, sales engineering, technical sales or product management
Experience working with sales teams & driving programs to help support pipeline
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Depth in building narratives, identifying pain points & crafting solutions
Project management skills: can prioritize high impact activities and keep complicated projects moving forward, working across cross-functional teams
Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.)
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, computer science, information systems, or other technical major, or equivalent
Experience marketing or selling to IT or developers
Expertise in Salesforce products, DevOps tools and/or other SaaS and B2B technology platforms
Ability to inspire optimism, fun, and the desire to always be learning!
