The Salesforce Developer will be a key member of Trailhead learning technology team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate has experience and energy to help manage and support the growth of Trailhead’s Salesforce org that is used for sales, marketing and support. This role is for an experienced Salesforce Developer with incredible development experience so that they can complement a team of skilled engineers on projects.
You are responsible to write and review code that others can understand, support, maintain and expand, and provide other team members with direction on development projects. You are aware of trends and technical developments in the industry, and how those can be applied in your work; and have a point of view on the delivery approach for very complex or foundational features. You have the demonstrated ability to anticipate technology lifecycle issues, work with projects involving multiple systems, and influence the team to deliver durable, extensible solutions.
You would be part of the engineering team, working closely with other technical staff members, business systems analyst and product owners who are responsible for adding new features or improving the current applications.
This job requires that you be a quick learner, self-starter with the ability to work under pressure, meet aggressive deadlines and handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously. You should have the ability to work in a fun, creative and fast paced environment. You will be responsible to adapt quickly, motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results. You must possess excellent oral and written communication/documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast and reliable code. You will also be required to contribute ideas and provide feedback on many projects within the team’s portfolio and be an innovator.
Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.)
5+ years of experience programming with Force.com (Apex and Visualforce)
Extensive experience with HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
3+ years of extensive experience implementing in Service Cloud
5+ years of experience in design of complex data models and expertise in relational database languages (SQL or SOQL)
5+ years of experience with complex projects using Web Services integration (SOAP and REST)
Strong knowledge of Lightning Aura and Lightning web components
Experience developing in an enterprise environment such as source code control, IDE, continuous deployment, release management (Git, Eclipse, CircleCI, link VSCode)
Ability to lead and influence the design approach to new applications and features
Ability to lead, participate and contribute to product code reviews
Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution required
Understanding of various user based security models and experience with performance tuning
Effectively communicate status and risk to the team and manager
Ability to mentor and develop junior team members
Good knowledge of design patterns and mocking
Good to have knowledge on handling large volume data, Mulesoft / Heroku, CRM analytics/dashboards.
B.E Computer Science / MCA or Equivalent
Preferred Certifications - Service Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer, Java Script Dev, Admin
Experience developing on the Salesforce.com platform & API’s
Good understanding of OAuth & SSO
Enterprise system integration with REST and SOAP
Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology
Understanding of various user based security models
Participate in product and feature design with technical staff members, business systems analyst and product managers & influence the outcomes
Excellent cross-group communication and problem solving skills
