Overview of the Role
The Northern Europe Solutions at Scale team is looking for an Associate Solution Engineer focusing on Commerce Cloud. We are a newly formed team of Specialist Solution Engineers and our mission is to drive revenue growth at scale across Commerce, Service, Marketing, CPQ and CRMA for our Northern Europe ESMB and CBU business.

As part of the Solutions at Scale team, you will play a crucial role in understanding our customers' needs and tailoring our Salesforce Commerce Cloud offerings to meet those needs effectively. You will act as a trusted advisor to our customers, solutions (SE) and sales teams alike.

Develop deep solution expertise in Commerce Cloud to become a thought leader and trusted advisor to SEs, sales teams and customers. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product developments, and best practices related to commerce solutions and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
Build trusted relationships with a variety of stakeholders across ESMB & CBU sales, SE, sales programs, product and product marketing to support the go to market strategy for Commerce Cloud.

Your role will be divided across the following activities (% are approximate indicators):
Direct customer engagements (60% of time) - You will work on business opportunities, from discovery to tailored demonstrations and presentations that showcase the value of our solutions. You will provide technical expertise during the sales process, addressing customer questions and concerns. You will work in close collaboration with SEs and AEs involved in those accounts.
1-many customer sessions (15% of time) - you will share thought leadership and solution knowledge by running live customer sessions such as webinars, masterclasses, campfires to drive solution awareness and ACV.
1-many internal education (10% of time) - you will share your expertise internally by running AE and SE enablement sessions and holding office hours.
Assets creation (15% of time) - you will create highly relevant and reusable assets such as Consensus videos, holodecks, demos environments to allow others to self-serve.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in a solution engineering, technical sales, or customer-facing role.
Strong passion for commerce solutions and technology.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a creative and adaptable mindset.
Customer-centric mindset with the ability to empathize and understand customer needs.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Willingness to travel when required.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Prior experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar commerce platform.
Experience in e-commerce industries like Manufacturing, Retail, CPG, etc.
Expertise in domains like commerce, web analytics, content management systems, inbound marketing, marketplaces, order management, product information management, etc.
Affinity with HTML, CSS, API, JAVA is a good plus.
Experience orchestrating a sales cycle which requires involvement of multiple internal and external resources.
Experience in presenting and hosting webinars or public speaking.
Video editing skills.
Proficiency in one of Northern Europe’s languages - Dutch, Flemish, French, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, or Danish.
