MuleSoft is looking for motivated Architects / Consultants to join our extremely talented and successful Professional Services team, who are instrumental to MuleSoft’s growth.
MuleSoft’s Professional Services team works across every technology to deliver solutions to customers in every industry. As an Automation Specialist Analyst / Consultant on our Services team, you will enable our customers to realize the full value of their investment in MuleSoft’s Automation products (MuleSoft Composer, MuleSoft RPA, & Salesforce Flow) and our associated methodologies. You will be an influencer and inspiring leader with expertise, credibility and field experience to establish yourself as a subject-matter-expert in a company leading innovation within the integration and automation services industry.

Below are some of the responsibilities that you will carry out in your role as an Automation Architect / Consultant:
Gain an understanding of vision, requirements and IT environment on customer's Automation projects
Discovery of business processes and evaluation of optimization / automation potential
Analysis, modelling and documentation of business processes, use cases and integration requirements
Implementation of technical solutions using our Automation products with alignment to standards and best practices
Enablement, training and ongoing coaching and mentoring of customer teams on our automation products
Execute expert reviews and guide alignment to standards and best practices
Provide operational / support issues resolution
Input into project management, defining and providing project backlog items, estimations and prioritizations to best achieve business goals and outcomes
Collaborate with our product teams on issues and new features

What you will achieve:

First 3 months:

Deep dive into our MuleSoft Automation Products and our Professional Services’ approach and methods through formal training, self-paced learning, mentoring and coaching and support from your new team.
Establish your network across the Professional Services organization and the wider MuleSoft and Salesforce ecosystem.
Gain a practical understanding of your role / responsibilities through shadowing colleagues on customer engagements. Contribute to the outcomes by having the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills developed during your ramp period.
Achieve your Salesforce/MuleSoft technical certifications and feel fully ramped on our technology and implementation methodologies.
Start working on one or more billable client engagements.

First 12 months:

Continue expansion of knowledge and experience on MuleSoft products, approaches and methods.
Work on several, increasingly significant automation projects as a Technical Consultant where you will provide customer and partner teams with hands-on technical guidance on MuleSoft’s Automation Products.
Promote and influence standards and best practices across the project lifecycle.
Deliver compelling presentations and workshops to influence the direction of our projects and lead customers through solution design.
Promote, train, coach, and mentor other team members on hard technical skills and soft skills.
Find opportunities for customer expansion, success and return on investment on the MuleSoft platform.
Contribute to our internal knowledge base to help expand and mature our IP.
Work with MuleSoft product leadership providing valuable product insight, guiding product direction and features.

What you’ll need to be successful:

Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.).
Consistent track record working as a Technical Architect / Consultant, working in medium to large IT organizations/departments.
Demonstrable experience delivering projects with cloud technologies and other low code integration/automation solutions:
RPA (e.g. UIPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Appian, ServiceTrace)
iPaaS (e.g. MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Workato, Oracle)
one or more on-premise/SaaS solutions for ERP, CRM, e-Commerce, or mobile (e.g. Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, WorkDay, ServiceNow).
Knowledge of related applications in low code/no-code integration and automation.
Hands-on experience with integration platforms, architecture patterns, and API focussed integration solutions is preferred.
A passion for technology and translating that passion into business impact for customers.
Curiosity and energy – ability to understand the customer’s true problems.
Ability to establish trust and work effectively in collaboration with a client’s business and technical teams.
Experience driving technical workshops with technical and business clients to derive beneficial services and implementations.
Ability to multitask and work timely in a fast-paced collaborative team environment.
Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time (varies depending on customer needs, focused within Region).
