Overview of the Role
The Cloud Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy and Operations team partners with Salesforce Product executives to drive GTM execution, strategic planning, business analysis, and growth across our ever growing product portfolio.
Role Description
We are looking for a Senior Manager to help support Go-to-Market Strategy & Operations across the Applications portfolio and pricing & packaging. This person will be responsible for leading end-to-end strategic analysis and driving strong operational cadences to achieve our quarterly objectives. You will collaborate with many cross-functional teams such as product management, pricing & packaging, finance, marketing, and others. We’re looking for data-driven candidates who have relentless curiosity, a startup mentality, attention to detail, willingness to manage multiple priorities, and ability to deal with ambiguity effectively. The ideal candidate is a team-player and will collaborate with peers across the Cloud GTM Strategy team as well as senior product stakeholders to deliver business insights and help inform decision-making in the Product organization.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the VP of GTM Strategy & Operations on strategic planning and business intelligence for key projects.
Define key performance metrics, build reports and dashboards to derive insights into the health of the business and identify areas of opportunity
Lead strategic analysis and deliver insights to support and progress key business decisions.
Coordinate day-to-day operations across core portfolio and Salesforce Editions.
Partner with leadership to develop, implement and track business plans, including actionable recommendations.
Work across the broader product portfolio and Cloud GTM Strategy team to collaborate, learn and scale.
Build and deliver presentations to senior stakeholders, from data analysis to crafting the storyline and key messages.
Interact with various cross-functional groups at senior levels (e.g. Sales Leadership, Marketing, Finance, Business Operations, M&A, etc.) to bring business insights and drive execution.
Required Qualifications
7+ years at a high-growth tech company in a strategic sales/business operations role or at a top management consulting company with strong exposure to Go-To-Market/Product Strategy assignments.
Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the Values & Behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate complex information into easily consumable insights.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment (sense of urgency, ability to adjust on the fly to unplanned situations).
Excellent communication skills, experience in crafting and presenting data-driven narratives
Basic SQL required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the SaaS industry is a plus.
Experience with Tableau is a plus.
