The Tax Senior Analyst is a member of the income tax provision team and will assist the team with various aspects of the Company's SEC reporting requirements under ASC 740. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with relevant corporate tax experience, an eagerness to learn, an analytical mind and strong collaborative skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Prepare components of the Company's quarterly and annual global income tax provision calculations and related financial statement disclosures, with focus areas of preparation of the US domestic provision, tracking of deferred taxes inventory, and supporting tasks related to ASC 740-10 (FIN48)
Prepare payable balances, tax account analysis and reconciliations
Assist in tax forecasts with multiple scenarios to aid planning and decision making
Support worldwide SOX processes and maintain SOX compliance
Contribute to continuous improvements in tax provision processes by exercising out of the box thinking to optimize efficiency, including collaboration with internal process transformation team and other tax specialty groups
Assist in preparation of insightful analytics summary for management review, including preparation and delivery of quarterly presentations
Proactively maintain provision project deadlines
Build collaborative working relationships across the organization
Support special projects as needed
Experience/Skills Required:
4-5 years of corporate tax experience with public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department
Demonstrate strong general accounting knowledge; familiar with ASC 740 and ASC 718 principles
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, particularly, Excel or Sheets
Experience in financial systems, CORPTax provision, Alteryx, or Tableau is highly desirable
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
Capability to communicate tax concepts and information needs effectively to non-tax colleagues
Ability to be an effective self-learner, and prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline driven, dynamic environment
Bachelor degree in Accounting, MS in Tax or CPA preferred
