At Salesforce, Finance and Strategy (F&S) works closely with leaders across the organization to produce financial plans and deliver key insights to drive the best possible investment decisions, focusing primarily on growth and execution of our bold long-range plans.

We have an exciting opportunity for a role in our Dublin office, reporting to the F&S CoE Manager (Sales). This is a key position that will operate mainly within GTM but also cross-functionally within F&S to deliver outstanding results through operational improvement, project based initiatives, improved management reporting and providing key access to data. This role will continue to expand scope to other areas as the CoE grows.

We are looking for forward-thinking, results oriented individuals who will succeed in a fast-paced environment and thrive in building and improving processes that will allow the company to scale with growth. Ideally, the candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a process improvement mindset that drives financial accuracy and data driven insight.


  • Build trusted relationships with key business partners and cross functional/cross geos teams

  • Partner with specific GTM International F&S leads on forecasting, analysing and controlling activities

  • Capacity planning, optimization and process management of headcount

  • Participate in operational improvement projects, including development and implementation of new business processes and best practices

  • Develop scalable reporting using Tableau

  • Perform various ad-hoc analyses, such as financial analyses to optimise business performance

Required Experience / Skills

Technical skills:

  • Qualified/Part Qualified accountant with a well grounded understanding of accounting principles and their impact on planning and reporting.

  • At least 1 to 3 years post qualification experience in an FP&A, Finance & Strategy, Accounting, Operations, Business Consulting or Sales Strategy function of a multinational entity

  • Data extraction & manipulation, analysis, and presentation

  • Strong ability to build compelling storylines that identify drivers of business issues

  • Deep understanding around business drivers of a CRM org

  • Strong Tableau, MS Excel, Hyperion, Smartview, and Google suite

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Track record of successful and quantifiable operational improvement projects

Non-technical skills:

  • Thrives in an environment of collaboration/teamwork but is also a self-starter, requiring limited guidance

  • Get it done attitude

  • Ability to deal with a fast moving dynamic environment with high degree of ambiguity

  • Ability to establish and manage business partnering, stakeholder relationships

  • Clear, concise, and professional communications - written & verbal; interpersonal skills

  • Emotional Intelligence, empathetic attitude, and humility to create space for learning

  • Sharp attention to details

  • Strong desire to process improve and drive efficiencies
