The Marketing Technology and Engineering team empowers business partners in the Global Marketing Organization. The Marketing Technology Manager provides ongoing support to our marketing team to ensure they are applying and optimizing the Slack MarTech stack.

Demonstrating your shown Martech expertise and deep technical competency, you will be responsible for solve and supporting our MarTech stack. You will also be accountable for implementing effective marketing technology solutions that scale with the business.

You should have a good understanding of Marketing Automation Platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), Content Syndication platforms (Integrate) and Marketing Point Solution Systems (SplashThat, ON24, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Enterprise technology SME for content syndication (Integrate) and other MarTech platforms by supporting the rollout and continuous improvement of current and future Enterprise marketing technologies that can be demonstrated globally by the marketing team.

  • Work closely with internal and external partners to understand business requirements, use cases and user stories.

  • Build positive relationships with business partners, development partners and peers on other multi-functional teams such as Marketing, Sales, Business Technology, Data Engineering, and Analytics.

  • Develop platform roadmaps and drive the product life cycle for features, enhancements, integrations and automations.

  • Support the resolution of tickets for assigned platforms.

  • Design, document and support automated processes in marketing systems and related integrations.

  • Handle an ongoing list of activities and improvements within individual projects and across initiatives.

  • See opportunities to improve and simplify tools and drive technology solutions at scale.

  • Lead the day-to-day administration, support, and maintenance of marketing platforms and marketing point systems, including but not limited to provisioning access, leading triage, enhancement, automation and integration requests.

  • Work with the larger Marketing Ops team to train and empower end users with shown standard methodologies, detailed documentation, and scalable processes that enable the marketing organization to help continue to drive growth for Slack.





Required Qualifications

  • Shown functional knowledge of marketing, marketing platforms and point system solutions, demand generation, and lead management.

  • Solid understanding of content syndication platforms and other martech platforms.

  • 3+ years experience in marketing operations or marketing systems analysis, preferably in a fast paced hyper-growth environment.

  • 3+ years’ experience with system integrations, data mappings, configurations, implementations, data migration and administration.

  • 3+ years experience working on Salesforce CRM, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Marketing Cloud or other CRM products.

  • 3+ years working in a project management tool like Jira and/or Asana

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or Marketing required; or equivalent experience.

  • Solid background in marketing system configuration, system provisioning, triaging requests, solve bugs, corresponding with multi-functional business partners, data flow design, creating training documentation, and leading enhancement requests.

  • Analytical problem solver with good interpersonal and social skills in order to lead the charge and implement new ideas.

  • Solid project management and prioritization skills, ability to create order and drive execution within a Kanban or sprint-focused technology team.

  • Maintain good communication & collaboration skills and be able to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.

  • Self-motivated, creative person with the ability to adapt to changes and new ideas.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $120,300 to $165,500.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $131,300 to $180,500.Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
