Salesforce is growing our WA team! We are looking for an ambitious, relationship-focussed individual to join our Business Development function, to drive strategic engagement of local white space accounts and revenue generation.

As a BDR, you are responsible for sourcing and creating new business opportunities. You will work very closely with the Account Executives who make up our Sales Team to identify prospective new clients, with a particular focus on Mining, Engineering, Manufacturing and Professional Services. This is achieved through strategic outreach, proactive engagement and qualifying of leads. Subsequently laying the foundations for our AE's to further develop and fully realise each opportunity.

While you will report to leadership in Sydney, our WA team are a close operation. You will collaborate with partners beyond your immediate team, and gain unparalleled experience in and support from the wider business.

You will need to build and maintain meaningful, lasting relationships within what is a unique market. Further, collaborating and producing innovative solutions will be vital as you adapt to each client, qualify their individual needs, and present tailored cloud solutions. Business Development is a true melting-pott of experience. It is as diverse as the customers we work with. Our people come from various industries and career paths; Professional Services, Travel, Law, Sales, Finance, Defence, Fitness, Retail, and Trades. The list truly goes on.

As this is a sales role, your success will be measured based against a monthly quota of qualified sourced opportunities and closed business, being a self-starter and motivated by a goal will unquestionably support your success.

While prior work in tech or sales is not necessary, our ideal candidate will come with proven local experience, a growth mindset, resilience and adaptability.

  • Strong communication and ability to build meaningful relationships

  • Prior experience in sales, or a strong desire to work with targets within a tech environment

  • Ability to prioritise contending tasks with tight turnaround time
