Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too — driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you’ve come to the right place.

Salesforce is looking for a software engineer who passionate about helping other engineers be as productive and innovative as possible! This role will be motivating change within the engineering organization through the development of learning and enablement programs. This position will be supporting our Developer Productivity initiative with the goal of increasing awareness and adoption of our tools and processes. Our organization is going through a large scale transformation focused on developer experience, and we’re looking for this role to help guide that change and it’s success!

In this role you will be the eyes, ears, and voice for our engineers. In return, you'll develop enablement programs that will increase their productivity and satisfaction in the Salesforce development life-cycle. You will be responsible for creating and driving a needs assessment to determine where the current gaps are in our developer's understanding, their desire to change, and their abilities, and then create solutions to close those gaps. You’ll partner closely with our Developer Productivity teams and as well as our Agile coaches to create lasting impact.

  • Develop and drive a thorough needs assessment to gauge the readiness of our developer community in adopting our tools and processes. You will be reporting on these findings and maintaining the progress of closing any gaps.

  • Design creative enablement solutions to drive awareness and the adoption of our developer tools and processes.

  • Partner side by side with our agile coaches to ensure we’re creating holistic approaches in driving change that impact not just the individual engineer but the overall team as well.

  • Use our E360 dashboard to measure the success of our programs as well as track progress on the overall developer productivity experience.

  • Partner with our onboarding team to help shape and develop our new hire engineering content based on our productivity tooling, as well as contribute to the overall strategy, and implementation, of the program content.

  • Strategically determine initiative priorities that drive the highest business and individual value and drive results to those priorities.

  • Work with the entire Learning team to create blended learning solutions for your programs by leveraging other programs and platforms that our team supports.

Role Requirements:

  • Has hands-on experience as a software engineer, ideally in a large organization, with a focus on delivering solutions that are scalable, elegant and performant.

  • Effectively influence at all levels of the organization using data and experiential feedback.

  • Ability to grasp new technologies quickly and identify where learning opportunities can benefit other engineers.

  • Understands the software development life-cycle. Can work effectively with subject matter experts, asking them the right questions and collaborating with them to write and build on a compelling learning journey.

  • Can influence and set direction with senior leaders and technical architects within a fast-paced, growing organization.

  • Has exceptional program management and organizational skills. Can lead programs from inception to successful completion.

  • Is an experienced and dynamic facilitator, presenter, storyteller, and coach. Is comfortable working across an organization, from individual contributors to senior leaders.
