Salesforce is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Source to Pay Data insights and analytics guide to join the Finance Transformation Team. The candidate will be responsible for leading all data related conversations to run finance operations business processes, Including technology adoption, automation expansion and process excellence related opportunities!

This position will require effective collaboration and strong influence throughout the Finance organization, as well as our internal teams and Business Technology teams. The candidate will need to demonstrate ownership, collaboration and problem-solving skills. This position will help to drive continuous improvement of our current processes and scale business operations to support organizational growth.

Your Impact: As Manager, Data Quality and Analytics your job will be to:

  • Monitoring data quality for specific applications and processes

  • Lead all Data Governance requirements from data source, Understanding audience of Source to Pay workstream, Data classification and Access provisioning process

  • Interpret data emitting from source systems, analyzing results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports

  • Understand the interplay between various data sources, Salesforce analytics platform and business needs.

  • Understand business context in depth and translate it to outputs. Wear a business hat and deliver solutions that fit business needs while simultaneously working across the engineering, data science and data services teams

  • Assist the business to identify key points in their processes to establish data quality monitoring

  • Prepare and deliver data management reporting

  • Assist with responses to data inquires by regulators and internal audit

  • Coordinates remediation activities with Enterprise Data Management and FLU’s

  • Research data anomalies and develop root cause analysis

  • Ensure deployment of resolutions to data issues

  • Be very comfortable extracting data from a wide range of sources (excel, database, etc) and develop insightful charts, dashboards and reports

Required Skills:

  • Understanding of Supplier Master, Purchase Orders, Accounts Payable and Travel and Expense business functions.

  • Data analytics and modeling skills using tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, R, and/or Business Objects (or similar analytical packages)

  • Familiarity and experience with data management practices and governance routines

  • Ability to recognize and resolve incidents in data sets

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Strong organization skills and the ability to complete projects end to end

  • Communication skills and the ability to work and talk to various business partners (Technology, business units, etc.)

  • Application and Platforms to be familiar with: Tableau, Snowflake, Alation

Key Responsibilities And Duties

  • Implements tools and processes to maintain org-wide data standards.

  • Provides business process, system support and data quality governance for master data through data coordination and integration to ensure efficient processes and consistent data flows to business and collaborators.

  • Develops reports and dashboards to identify key business metrics, trends and analytical needs, and optimizes dashboard reporting for operations and management to enable data driven decision making.

  • Identifies and implements process improvements in relation to master data processes.

  • Reviews and evaluates master data management metrics, develops recommendations regarding opportunities for strengthening data integrity, quality and availability across the enterprise.

  • Assesses the current state of data quality and recommends optimal approaches for resolving data quality issues.

  • Identifies data quality metrics and implements data quality audits.

  • Monitors, tracks and reports ongoing data quality levels.

  • Prepares reports for management to quantify and articulate the business impact of data quality issues.
