Position Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and multidimensional professional to join the BizTech Training & Transformation team to support the CIO organization’s strategy, growth, and innovation through process optimization. In this role, you will be driving continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing operational processes, and standardizing process excellence across BizTech. The ideal candidate is expected to be a self-starter, think independently, and work cross-functionally to support process improvement initiatives end-to-end including goal-definition, implementation, change management, and measurement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work closely with business leaders, technology teams, and other stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and align process improvement initiatives with business objectives
- Analyze existing processes to identify improvement areas, drive automation, improve end user experience, reduce costs, and or save/time
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement targeted improvement initiatives across the CIO organization
- Collaborate with BT Change & Training team to drive adoption of process excellence within the CIO organization through developing and implementing change management and training plans
- Build process improvement capacity across BT by sharing and training on process improvement tools (e.g., process mapping, value analysis, root cause analysis) and methodologies to promote a continuous improvement culture and mindset
- Provide guidance, support, and expertise to teams within the CIO organization on process improvement best practices to ensure proper implementation and sustainability
Here’s what we’re seeking:
- 5+ years experience in process improvement, business process reengineering, change management or related fields; prior consulting experience preferred
- Experience supporting n IT organization and knowledge of IT processes
- Demonstrated experience of process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to think critically and approach complex challenges with a strategic attitude
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and strategies to diverse audiences
- Bachelor of Science (BS) OR Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree
