We are seeking a Manager, Finance Bookings to join the Corporate Finance & Strategy organization to lead topline metrics reporting and analytics! The primary responsibilities of this individual are to curate insights and deliver predictive analytics with expert knowledge of the Salesforce business model and integrated company data.

This role is an integral member of the FP&A team and will deliver reporting to measure overall growth and health of the business, fearlessly diving into big data sets to unlock insights included but not limited to new logos, country expansion, deal size and industry. This role partners across multiple functions including, but not limited to global sales, broader finance, sales strategy, product strategy, and M&A teams to deliver consistently accurate financial forecasting, business insights, and process improvements. This role requires strong analytical thinking, technical acumen and a passion for data. Your Impact:

  • Develop in-depth understanding of Salesforce business model, Go-to-Market (GTM) sales leadership structure, and systems/reporting logic used for reporting and planning bookings.

  • Work cross-functionally across finance, operations, and distribution teams to accurately report on global bookings metric (ACV) and related derived KPIs

  • Understand and maintain key reporting dimensions (e.g. region, product, industry, deal size, new logo).

  • Curate datasets and build dashboards for data points commonly requested by senior management.

  • Use in-depth understanding of data and processes to drive improvements to management reporting.

  • Provide recommendations for metric accuracy, build proof-of-concept definitions to improve insights and develop repeatable reporting processes widely leveraged by all key stakeholders.

  • Leverage Financial Planning and Analysis experience to create custom analyses to inform the company narrative for earnings.

  • Analyze large volumes of standard datasets using various tools like SQL, Tableau, R, etc

  • Document processes, use cases, standard methodologies and requirements in a way that can be understood by business and technical partners.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytic field of study + a business approach; Math, Statistics, Finance, Economics or other relevant fields.

  • Analytical problem solver with a passion for using data to solve business problems

  • 4-5+ years of relevant experience in finance, FP&A, consulting, or analytics

  • Experience with databases and writing SQL (Oracle, Hive, Postgres, Snowflake)

  • Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Einstein Analytics, Qlik, or similar tools

  • Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to clearly present insights from analysis

  • Ability to quickly understand complex business processes and build domain expertise in data and technical aspects

  • Passionate about automating data that directly solves a business problem or manual process

  • Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn and grow

  • Experience or familiarity with Salesforce platform preferred
