Salesforce is in search of a dynamic, forward-thinking, and sales-focused Marketing Manager to lead our ESMB strategy and program execution in the EMEA - NORTH region. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about driving demand generation, brand awareness, and growth within the small and medium-sized business (SMB) segment. Our ideal candidate brings a wealth of experience in B2B CRM sales or marketing, a deep understanding of ESMBs, and a keen insight into their go-to-market and software purchasing behaviors.
As an individual contributor, you will orchestrate a virtual team to deliver pipeline growth, enhance awareness, and strengthen our presence in the startup and ESMB sector. Exceptional planning and organizational skills are crucial, along with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with key sales and strategy partners while taking full accountability for results. Your analytical prowess will be pivotal in deciphering demand generation, forecasting, budgeting, lead management, and all the intricate components of running a successful marketing operation.
The successful candidate will be a seasoned marketing professional with a strong affinity for the ESMB sector. Proven experience in programmatic demand generation through targeted campaigns is a requirement. Additionally, a solid grasp of SEM, SEO, display advertising, and social media marketing is vital. You should also have experience in leading website content development and effectively coordinating creative teams and external agencies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Lead the ESMB audience strategy (awareness, pipeline growth, and maturity/closure), providing guidance and overseeing the dedicated budget for EMEA.
- Develop end-to-end marketing strategies, program architecture, and campaign plans for ESMB marketing in EMEA North, encompassing program planning, campaign management, tactical execution, promotions, and collaboration with executive, alliance, and operational stakeholders.
- Foster innovation and provide leadership to enhance our go-to-market approach for both our existing customer base and new prospects across various mediums and channels.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of all ESMB campaigns, events, and content.
- Define integrated, impactful campaigns and promotions, both internally and externally, to achieve adoption and pipeline goals.
- Implement and optimize processes and standard methodologies to ensure program success, ensuring global visibility, measuring outcomes, and effectively managing budgets to increase impact.
- Take ownership of campaign pipelines, continuously monitoring effectiveness and results. Publish regular campaign scorecards at a global level to share performance trends with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with regional and global marketing counterparts to gather input on program strategy, campaign direction, creative elements, and impact measurement.
- Demonstrate the ability to coordinate, negotiate, prioritize, and lead project results across various marketing teams as needed.
- Act as an inspirational leader and the primary ESMB representative within the EMEA - CENTRAL marketing team, as well as within virtual management teams across sales and other supporting business units.
- Extensive marketing experience.
- Proficiency in Dutch and business-level English.
- A proven track record of planning, leading, and managing international marketing campaigns spanning web, social media, email, as well as in-person events and other activities.
- Strong background in developing and implementing targeted marketing campaigns tailored to specific market segments, including expertise in market segmentation and identifying suitable targets within the ESMB landscape.
- A solid understanding of demand generation with a track record of delivering quantifiable return on investment.
- Proficiency in cross-functional collaboration and teamwork.
- Meticulous attention to detail coupled with robust project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a background in social media marketing being highly desirable.
- A highly professional demeanor, known for being a positive, solutions-oriented team player who thrives in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment.
- Previous experience using Salesforce or other marketing tools such as Marketo, Eloqua, Responsys, GA 360, etc., is a plus.
