What Your Job Will Be Like:
We are seeking a motivated, experienced Information Systems Engineering Project Manager to join the dynamic team in the Custom Enterprise Apps & Services department (9748).
On any given day, you may be called on to:
Work with customers and IT team to understand, document, analyze, and communicate requirements
Negotiates and verifies deliverables with stakeholders across organizations
Monitor, track, and report on ticket queue and product backlog. Work with team to prioritize, organize, and facilitate ticket assignment
Provide tactical and strategic leadership and planning of one or more efforts within the technology portfolio, including deployment, operations, and maintenance activities and related projects
Ensure projects, tickets, and tasks are completed on time, within budget and meet the technical requirements
Proactively manage and document changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans, as necessary
Identify potential project risks and respond by developing risk mitigation strategies, corrective actions, risk acceptance recommendations or avoidance for all aspects of the project.
Develop and deliver status reporting, decision documents, presentations, and effectively address project concerns with customers and management
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing with technical and functional staff and acquire approvals and validate in alignment with Enterprise quality standards and processes.

Candidates must be able to handle a fast-paced environment while successfully partnering with staff and leadership in multiple departments
The selected applicant can work a combination of onsite and offsite work. The selected applicant must live within a reasonable distance for commuting to the assigned work location when necessary.
Salary Range:
$99,400 - $193,600
*Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.
Qualifications We Require:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Management or relevant field plus 5 years of experience; or equivalent (AS + 9 years or no degree + 13 years)
Experience managing IT related projects
Experience documenting, maintaining, and analyzing functional and non-functional requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE SCI clearance
Qualifications We Desire:
Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
Agile project management/ Scrum training or certification
Experience in custom software development environment
Familiarization with the Azure DevOps Services application lifecycle management tool
Ability to work and communicate effectively in a collaborative and interdisciplinary team environment
Familiarization with requirements engineering and software testing principles, concepts, processes, activities, practices, and requirement types and work products
Critical thinking, synthesis and problem-solving; ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused operation
Existing DOE L or Q or DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance
