Purpose and Objective: 

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Atlanta, GA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions.

 

Expectations and Tasks:

Maps business processes to solution requirements. Helps position disruptive business innovation. Supports the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Drives change management to achieve business transformation objectives. Supports end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards. Participates in transition planning of customer solution landscapes. Drives deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs or industries. Supports pre-sales activities. Performs solution reviews and feasibility studies. Supports escalated projects. Occasionally takes over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery. Supports line manager(s) in people development tasks. Delivers customer workshops and trainings. Supports in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success. Introduces SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard content and experience. Creates project documentation and documentation of delivered services. Supports the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service and/or supports updates to the portfolio. Supports in solution testing and issue resolution. Mentors business process consultants.

 

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematicsor a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

 

Work Experience:

Experience must involve 4 years in the following:

  • Conduct fit-gap analysis workshops and define business requirements, processes, and objectives;
  • Facilitate collaborative architecture discussions with stakeholders;
  • Consult, design, review, develop, document, implement, support, and present SAP Solutions;
  • Develop detailed plan and implement functional specifications for ABAP development requirements;
  • Perform configuration, create test cases, test scheduling, and execution;
  • Define migration concept and strategy and execute data migration;
  • Provide operational support for logistics modules including Purchasing, Inventory, Master Data, Production Planning, Sales and Distribution, and Quality Management areas; and
  • Perform project implementation phases in SAP ACTIVATE and Agile modes, including estimate efforts, risk mitigation, and resolve escalation issues.

 

Travel: Position requires up to 50% domestic to various and unanticipated client sites. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the US.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $122,429 - $188,445. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $130,400 - $221,700. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
