What you will be doing:

The Senior Manager, Wealth Solutions position is responsible for shaping and executing Tangerine end-to-end wealth offering. This role bridges product innovation, platform strategy, and advisor enablement to deliver market-leading, digital-first wealth management products and services. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, the Senior Manager will lead the development of new wealth products and services, support platform enhancements, and ensure advisors have the tools, training, and support to succeed.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Lead the design, build, and ongoing management of wealth management products and services across client segments, including but not limited to investments, planning, lending, and insurance.
  • Conduct market scans, competitive benchmarking, and client research to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Manage third-party relationships, including due diligence, selection, onboarding, and ongoing governance of asset managers and other third-party product and service providers.
  • Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements and internal risk standards, with robust documentation and oversight.
  • Establish performance metrics and conduct regular reviews of product adoption, profitability, and client outcomes to inform enhancements or rationalization.
  • Support requirements gathering and business cases for new platform features and enhancements that support advisors and clients.
  • Support vendor evaluations, RFPs, and implementation of third-party technology solutions.
  • Monitor platform performance, user experience, and emerging technology trends to ensure competitiveness and scalability.
  • Develop and execute training programs, product playbooks, and sales tools to equip advisors with the knowledge and resources to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Compliance to produce client-facing materials and thought leadership.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert and escalation point for complex client scenarios, partnering with front-line leadership to resolve issues.
  • Establish feedback loops with advisors to identify pain points, track adoption of products and platforms, and prioritize improvements.
  • Identify and build the case for the critical product success factors that will make our wealth management products and services valuable to clients and profitable for the business.
  • Lead the wealth solutions team in seeking out incremental, evolutionary and disruptive innovations within the digital wealth business with focus on products and client facing processes across all customer channels.
  • Lead the Wealth Solutions team in collaborating with various other teams (i.e. Technology, Digital Experience, Marketing, Sales, etc.) throughout the organization to implement recommendations that strengthen features, positioning or processes for wealth management products and services.
  • Present regular status reports to senior management on results, plans, and strategy across wealth management products and services.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with the Regulatory Compliance Framework including the Anti-Money Laundering/Anti-Terrorist Financing and Sanctions Policy and all AML related policies, procedures and controls within the department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Undergraduate degree in business/finance/STEM field.
  • 7+ years in wealth management product, platform, or solutions roles, preferably in a hybrid-digital environment.
  • CFA and/or CIM designations (CAIA designation nice to have)
  • Strong understanding of investment, lending, insurance, and planning solutions, plus advisor workflows and client experience.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on execution and continuous improvement.
