The Senior Product Solutions Analyst will play a key role in transforming how business teams across Scotia Global Asset Management (SGAM) operate by introducing AI-powered technologies and delivering customized analytics solutions. This role involves contributing to the development and enhancement of internal generative AI applications, including prompt engineering and design tailored for SGAM teams. The analyst will also collaborate with a range of third-party vendors to assess, integrate, and optimize external AI tools that support operational excellence and business innovation.

- Lead with a business-oriented perspective, collaborating with business and cross-functional teams to spark new ideas, re-engineer processes, identify opportunities, and shape AI-powered solutions
- Translate business problems into technical requirements
- Own AI and ML products from ideation to implementation
- Partner with AI, Technology, and Data Teams to ensure successful integration and effective use of AI tools and solutions
- Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that supports business objectives and reflects market trends
- Support change management efforts and promote AI literacy and adoption among users
- Collaborate with cross functional teams such as platform and architecture to ensure AI solutions are compliant with regulatory requirements, data governance policies, and ethical standards
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience delivering data science and big data projects in large complex organizations
- Background degree in Mathematics, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Sciences preferred
- Strong understanding of classical machine learning, model development, MLOps, and generative AI
- Advanced knowledge in Python and SQL and working with large data sets
- Experience with AI tools and platforms relevant to asset management and financial services sectors.
- Experience with enhancing client experience through personalized AI or predictive analytics.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and pgvector is an asset
- Extremely strong analytical, problem solving and data analysis skills
