The Senior Manager contributes to the overall success of the Enterprise Regulatory Obligations Program globally, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Execute oversight on assigned business lines/corporate functions for Regulatory Library completeness, including regulatory changes, evidenced through documented oversight and escalation where appropriate.
- Provide continuous support to assigned business lines/corporate functions on the Enterprise Regulatory Obligations Program methodology and supporting tools, driving usage of self-service learning and reporting.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement that challenges the status quo, identifies efficiencies, and incorporates innovative thinking.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with ScotiaBond, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, and conduct risk.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have experience with:
- 7–10 years of regulatory compliance experience in Banking or Consulting
- Strong ability to influence/communicate with diverse stakeholders across functions business unit’s executives
- Working experience with Power BI
- Above-average competency in Excel and an ability to analyze large data sets
- Functional fluency in Spanish is an asset.
