The Team
The product onboarding team is one of the most critical teams within the bank and aligns with the bank’s strategic direction. The successful candidate joining this team will not only learn what it is like to be a full-stack software engineer but also get to work directly with leaders from both the business and technology side! Additionally, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to experience what it is like to work within an Agile software engineering team. Finally, the successful candidate can expect to learn about financial services and regulations within the bank!
Contributes to the overall success of the Product Onboarding Engineering Team globally, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

- You will tackle ambiguous, high-impact technical challenges with minimal direction and deliver strong, pragmatic solutions.
- You will take strong ownership of services, ensuring effective monitoring, observability, deployment quality, and proactive system improvements.
- You will lead a cross-functional engineering team through design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise-grade solutions.
- You will support remediation of vulnerabilities, audit findings, and risk assessments.
- You will mentor engineers, promote continuous learning, and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
- You will guide teams through complex problem-solving, architectural decisions, and production challenges.
- You will support hiring, onboarding, and performance development for engineering talent.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
- Completed Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related area.
- Knowledge of CSS Modules, Styled Components, and Tailwind CSS, with a focus on responsive design.
- Lead the Modern Development Environment, Layered Architecture, Mobile-First Best Practices, SPAs, Micro-frontends, and Microservices.
- 5+ years of software development experience building web applications using technologies such as ReactJS, Redux Toolkit, React Query, Context API, Zod, Axios, TypeScript, NodeJS, Express.JS, Next.js, MongoDB, Redis.
- Strong understanding of React fundamentals, hooks, forms, routing, state tools and React Fiber Architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with modern JS toolsets (ES6+, Webpack, Babel, Jest, Aqua, blackduck, Checkmarks, Web Inspect) and deep knowledge of HTML/CSS/SASS.
- The candidate must have a good understanding of existing web and cloud applications (including complex application systems), evaluate problems, identify actions to be taken and recommend solutions.
- Deliver code development, unit testing, UAT support, implementation, and operational support.
- Experience with Google Cloud cloud-based development stacks.
- Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP), functional design and standard software engineering tools and platforms.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (such as Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps tools (such as Bitbucket, Git, Ansible, Jenkins).
- Good analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
