Purpose
The Manager is responsible for administering SharePoint and the Power Platform for Business Automation projects. The Manager partners effectively with stakeholders and the Business Automation team to execute and deliver solutions in line with project plans, including scope, schedule, and required project documentation.
What You’ll Do
- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.

- Collaborate with the Business Automation group to identify solutions to complex business challenges across Global Banking and Markets.
- Partner with technology and program managers to integrate timelines and deliverables into project plans; develop business requirements, test scripts, user acceptance testing materials, and other project artifacts; identify risks, issues, and dependencies; and obtain required approvals and sign-offs.
- Manage quality control and assurance testing processes, including issue reporting and resolution, and support the approval and sign-off of project milestones and deliverables.
- Develop efficiency and productivity tools to help the business automate processes using SharePoint, Power BI, and paginated reports.
- Establish clear, achievable objectives; balance competing demands related to quality, scope, time, and cost; and adapt specifications, plans, and approaches to address varying stakeholder needs and expectations.
- Maintain projects that enable efficient and effective delivery while adhering to internal project management standards.
- Conduct day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the Bank’s risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits and communicate these expectations across the team.
- Create an environment in which the team pursues effective and efficient operations while ensuring the adequacy, adherence, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations related to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk, and conduct risk, including responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook, and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
- Build a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates team members by fostering an inclusive work environment, communicating vision, values, and business strategy, and managing succession and development planning.
- Demonstrate an understanding of how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Ensure effective and efficient operations within the area of responsibility, and ensure day-to-day business controls are adequate, adhered to, and effective in meeting obligations related to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk, and conduct risk, including responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook, and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
What You’ll Bring
- Relevant experience in management consulting and/or financial services and/or internal consulting functions within a complex financial institution, with a demonstrated history of executing the role's key accountabilities and at least 2 years evidencing subject matter expertise in SharePoint and Power Platform at an Enterprise level.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, or related field.
- Must be a power user of Microsoft SharePoint and Power BI and PBI Report Builder (O365).
- Gather requirements from business areas and create design documents.
- Understanding enterprise processes and transforming these into Business Process Flows, Cloud Flows and Desktop flows.
- Design Build and Deliver Power BI solutions independently and in a team.
- Expertise on Power BI and Power BI Report Builder.
- Design databases for the applications, in SharePoint, Microsoft Dataverse and SQL Server.
- Design and create connectors (standard, premium, custom) in Power Apps.
- Implement power platform solutions that leverage various Office 365 services
- Debug and resolve issues with existing cloud / desktop flows and suggest improvements/changes to existing processes.
- Assume additional responsibilities as assigned/required.
- Build strong productive customer focused relationships with the Business, IT teams and third parties
Required Professional Qualifications:
- Expertise in Power BI (cloud and desktop dashboards).
- Power BI Report Builder – ability to create paginated reports from Power BI Dashboards.
- SharePoint Development-design and implement new SharePoint sites, subsites, lists and document repositories.
- Expertise in designing, developing, and deploying Office 365 solutions including Power Automate (Flow), SharePoint Online.
- Expertise in creating Data Flows and integrating with other O365 services.
- Understanding in packaging Power Automate as solutions and deploying in different environments.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Must be able to write operational manuals and provide demos to large audiences.
- Good understanding Power platform including Power Virtual Agents and Power BI.
- Good understanding of Azure services like Azure Apps, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps.
- Any expertise with Power Platform AI modeling is a Plus, both Text, and Image.
- Must be motivated, independent, and self-sufficient. Able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision.
- The candidate must be the quintessential team player and a highly skilled communicator.
