The Manager, Business Enablement (BE), under the direction of the Senior Manager, BE, plays a pivotal role in driving risk-based initiatives and strategic projects primarily across Global AML. This role is responsible for the procedural documentation framework for key operational/risk mitigating initiatives within Global AML, such as procedures, templates and user guides.
The incumbent leads the oversight of a centralized repository, inventory management, standardized templates, review and approval processes. This includes managing multiple SharePoint sites and ensuring documents are maintained in accordance with retention and refresh policies.
This incumbent contributes to the overall success of Global AML ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted comply with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

Champion Client Focus:
- Foster a client-centric culture to strengthen internal partnerships and leverage enterprise-wide systems, knowledge and relationships.
Operational Efficiency
- Pursue effective and efficient operations, ensuring adherence to day-to-day business controls for operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
- Lead and collaborate with Stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define requirements, alignment, insight, and stakeholder buy-in for various projects and documentation updates.
- Ensure full auditability of documentation processes through maintained evidence trails, version control, approvals, and attestation records, supporting internal audit and regulatory reviews.
- Lead the implementation and execution of the Periodic Documentation Review (PDR)/Annual Attestation (AA) program, ensuring quarterly/annual attestations for document accuracy.
- Manage tasks such as the Document Revision Package (DRP), summarizing monthly updates across multiple business units in multiple jurisdictions.
- Own and govern centralized documentation repositories (e.g., SharePoint), including structure optimization, document publication, access management, and periodic access and content reviews.
- Continuously assess and improve existing processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk exposure.
- Stay abreast of regulatory standards, business initiatives and industry trends.
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions to enhance documentation processes, reporting, and governance efficiency.
Policy and Regulatory Impact
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Collaborate with business partners to assess and respond to policy and regulatory changes.
- Manage business improvement strategies and implement quick wins and long-term enhancements.
- Create artifacts for sustainability and auditability of implemented processes maintaining proper records and audit trail for day-to-day activities and as a reference for audit/regulatory reviews. (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures, Process Flow Maps, Reference Documents, Job Aids, Templates, Communications and Presentations)
Project Management
- Lead or actively participate in various project phases from requirements through implementation.
- Identify the impact of initiatives on end-to-end processes and manage updates to impacted documentation.
- Communicate key decisions and project outcomes to all stakeholders across all levels of management.
Change Management
- Plan, develop, and execute change management strategies for Global AML teams.
- Manage ambiguity surrounding initiatives/projects effectively.
- Prioritize requests for information and escalate as required.
Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors and technology partners.
- Work with a diverse working group across varying expertise and job levels to drive alignment and execution.

- This position is highly strategic and complex requiring a results-oriented individual who has a high degree of understanding of banking business, bank regulatory expectations and knowledge.
- 3+ years of experience in compliance or risk management.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, or accounting is an asset.
- Strategic thinker with a strong working knowledge of Global AML end-to-end process.
- Thorough knowledge of AML regulations, practices, and economic sanctions, which may be enhanced via accreditations by ACAMS (Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist), is an asset.
- Experience leading, developing and implementing change management practices and projects.
- Strong organization and time management skills to manage multiple engagements and projects concurrently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are required to foster a positive work environment that values teamwork and provides a productive, enjoyable, and satisfying experience for all staff.
- Self-reliant and pro-active approach to work and the ability to deliver results under tight deadlines and competing priorities.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to manage difficult conversations and to effectively drive change management across culturally diverse workforce.
- Thrives in an ambiguous and dynamic business environment, with a proven ability to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
- Advanced technical skills in Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, Access, Power BI, SharePoint.
- Receives direction from other senior management as appropriate on significant legal, regulatory, and reputational risk and policy matters.
- Sound organizational abilities with the capacity to be innovative and think creatively.
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is an asset.
