Job description
We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong change management, process and finance expertise to help integrate and harmonize two distinct business unit finance functions into a single, unified operating model. This role blends business analysis, process optimization, and change management to align people, processes, and technology across the finance organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive work within project teams and with stakeholders from both business units to ensure requirements for integration are understood, documented, and delivered.
- Partner with finance leadership to consolidate and optimize finance processes (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, compliance), ensuring consistency, efficiency, and regulatory compliance in the combined organization.
- Analyze differences in current-state processes, design a harmonized future-state operating model, and support organizational design activities to clarify roles, responsibilities, and reporting structures in the new finance function.
- Support change management activities, including communication planning, stakeholder engagement, and training, to help teams adopt new processes, tools, and ways of working.
- Use Business Analyst tools & techniques to capture information needs and functional requirements that enable seamless integration.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate across both business units, technology teams, and external partners to foster alignment and buy-in.
- Research, analyze, recommend, and help deploy ERP finance solutions that enable standardization and scalability across the unified function.
- Apply a structured, data-driven approach to measure integration progress, track benefits, and resolve challenges.
- Simplify complex issues and present analyses that emphasize business value, harmonization, and long-term sustainability.
- Contribute to firm-wide initiatives such as business development, people development, recruiting, marketing, and culture.
