Role Summary

The Web Marketing Manager will support the Consumer Website Marketing Lead in executing web marketing initiatives on the MDC platform. This is a support role that will act as an extension of the Web Marketing Lead, helping scale execution capacity by translating broader marketing strategies into high-converting online experiences. This involves managing CMS content operations, supporting web marketing execution, and driving project management rigor across workstreams.

Web Marketing Execution

This focus area centers on supporting the development of marketing strategies into tangible digital experiences that engage consumers and drive business outcomes.

  • Campaign and Product Launch Support: Actively support the planning and execution phases of major product launches, seasonal campaigns, and always-on marketing initiatives to ensure the web experience aligns seamlessly with campaign objectives and key messaging.
  • Funnel Optimization: Apply a deep understanding of the marketing funnel to support the development of web content, ensuring that user journeys are logical, engaging, and effectively guide visitors from initial awareness through consideration to conversion.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as a key liaison between the Web Marketing Lead and cross-functional partners to ensure alignment on execution details and that the final web experience meets quality standards.

CMS Content Management

This focus area requires hands-on technical proficiency and meticulous attention to detail to ensure the content launched on the site is accurate, functional, and visually appealing.

  • End-to-End Publishing: Take ownership of content uploads, updates, and publishing within the self-service CMS, building out new web pages, landing pages, and promotional modules according to design specifications.
  • Quality Assurance and Brand Compliance: Conduct rigorous QA checks prior to publishing to ensure all content is accurate, functional across devices, and strictly adheres to brand guidelines regarding tone, voice, and visual identity.
  • Asset Management: Effectively manage digital assets (images, videos, copy) within the CMS environment, ensuring they are properly tagged, optimized for web performance, and easily accessible for future use.
  • Timeline Adherence: Manage the publishing calendar to ensure all web pages, landing pages, and content assets are launched precisely on schedule, coordinating closely with campaign timelines and product release dates.

Project Management & Process Optimization

This focus area is critical for maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring that complex projects are delivered on time and within scope.

  • Workstream Coordination: Drive operational rigor across multiple concurrent projects by developing and maintaining comprehensive workback schedules, managing timelines, and proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks or delays.
  • Meeting Facilitation and Tracking: Run regular standups, status meetings, and cross-functional check-ins, while maintaining up-to-date project trackers and providing clear, concise status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Process Improvement: Actively identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in existing workflows and contribute to the development and refinement of process documentation, including intake templates, QA protocols, execution checklists, and standard operating procedures.
