Job description

Sia Title: Independent Contractor (1099)

Project Title: Freelance Influencer Strategist/Creator Partnerships

Project Length: September 7 – October 9 (5 weeks), with potential to extend if project needs evolve.

Project Hours: Approximately 20 hours/week, with flexibility to increase hours depending on project needs. Must be available for collaboration during business hours (9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET).

Fixed Fee Range: $9,000–$11,000 for the initial 5-week engagement. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills and agreed-upon scope and monthly deliverables rather than tracked hours. This is a fixed-fee project, not an hourly engagement. You will be paid out monthly on a net 30 day schedule.

About The Role:

Ready Set Rocket (a Sia Company) is looking for a Freelance Influencer Strategist to shape and execute creator partnerships that fuel integrated, performance-driven campaigns. This role requires close partnership with our Social, Growth, Creative and Paid Media teams to ensure creator content ladders into broader brand awareness, engagement and performance goals. You’ll bring a strong POV on the talent landscape, the ability to recognize and match creators to the right campaigns at the right moment, and the agility to work across diverse clients and categories.

Your Impact

  • Influencer and Creator Partnership Strategy: Identify and recruit creators whose personas, content and audiences align with brand strategy, target marketing segments, and campaign goals, ensuring authenticity and resonance.

  • Growth Connector: Translate campaign objectives and paid media strategies into creator recommendations for paid ad content that drive attention and engagement, leading to measurable business impact.

  • Campaign Orchestrator: Develop and roll out influencer briefs for product launches, seasonal pushes, tentpole activations or partnership amplification, in collaboration with Growth, Creative, and Client teams.

  • Rights & Usage Architect: Structure usage terms up front — including paid amplification windows, whitelisting/partnership ad permissions, cross-platform repurposing, exclusivity, and renewal triggers. Ensure that creator assets align with and are cleared for the media plan before they're produced, not retrofitted after.

  • Budget & Contracts Manager: Lead contract negotiations, oversee creator licensing and budget allocations, and manage invoicing workflows in partnership with production and finance teams, ensuring campaigns remain on time and on budget.

  • Trend Spotter: Surface creator and content trends as well as emerging platforms to keep campaigns ahead of the curve.

  • Cross-Functional Partner: Ensure activations are not standalone efforts, but integrated into paid, social, and creative channels for maximum impact.

What Success Looks Like

  • Creator selections consistently align with audience targets, and brand tone, helping to achieve campaign KPIs — unlocking key segments and driving both cultural relevance and measurable performance.

  • Campaigns launch on time with clear briefs, efficient workflows, and creative alignment across client and agency teams.

  • Paid and organic creator activations align with and seamlessly connect into broader acquisition and media plans.

  • Client feedback and approval rounds are streamlined and well-documented, with all assets trafficked, posted, and tracked accurately against timelines and deliverables.

  • Growth and Creative teams view you as a trusted strategist who can bridge what creator content does best with overall account growth objectives.

  • Reporting on creator campaigns provides actionable insights that inform future creative, media, and UGC decisions.
