Responsibilities
·
· Responsible for Technical administration of Platform
- Management of version upgrades (approval & deployment)
- Patch management, security flaw correction, backups
- Server license monitoring (obsolescence, end of technical support, etc.)
- Coordination with architects and Technical teams
- Incident management of technical issues
- Server resizing studies
- Testing of new solutions proposed by the publisher
- Set up documentation for policies & procedures.
- Responsible to implement and manage Disaster recovery
- Trouble shooting and resolving system issues
- Constantly monitor the application performance, identify the solution for the possible problems, and coordinate with the development team to incorporate those fixes.
Profile Required:
- Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting windows/UNIX-based environments.
- Experience in end-to-end workflow design from a multitude of sources (Networks,databases, files, REST APIs, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of coding and scripting.
- Experience in following proper SDLC practices in end-to-end workflow design in conjunction with end users
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms
- Ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries originating from RDBMS systems
- Good to have experience in using cloud storage
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, Load Balancer and Network firewall
- Good to have Knowledge/ experience with the Hadoop ecosystem (Hive views)
- Strong communication skills.
- Virtualization and containerization experience, such as VMware, VirtualBox, and similar programs, would be advantageous.
- Having solid network knowledge such as OSI network layers and TCP/IP protocols.
- Having a technical background network skills are a plus
