What You’ll Do:

We are looking for highly motivated penultimate-year (third-year) students for an 8 to 10-week internship program in our Hong Kong office. If you love research, Bernstein could be a great fit for you. Our interns learn about and contribute to the research we are known for: thematic, industrial strength, collaborative, data-driven, bottom up, and always differentiated. You will be assigned to a sector team (such as Asia Industrials, China Consumer, Japan Semiconductor, etc.) and work closely with a Senior Research Analyst and other Research Associates who will mentor and develop you. As a Research Associate Intern you will:

• Learn in-depth analysis of your assigned sector, companies, and stocks by working with your team through a quarterly earnings cycle

• Build expertise in your assigned sector and companies by working with a seasoned industry expert and other Associates

• Complete a comprehensive project and deliver a presentation to senior management

• Attend Bernstein Summer School learning and development programs

• Interact with peers in research, sales, and trading through a variety of networking and social activities

Interns with good performance often join us for full-time Research Associate roles after graduation, and advance to Senior Research Associate positions and/or pivot to asset management firms. In accordance with applicable law and firm standards, the monthly salary for HK internship role will be pro-rated for 8-10 weeks.
