As a Senior EM FX and Rates Strategist at Société Générale, you will deliver high-quality, research-driven foreign exchange and rates markets insights and trade ideas focused on emerging markets. Your expertise in macroeconomic analysis, geopolitical risk, and currency and rates markets will support our commitment to providing innovative, client-centric solutions while upholding the bank’s values of responsibility, innovation, and team spirit. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and communicate robust EM rates and FX strategies and trade ideas, grounded in comprehensive macroeconomic, political, and market research across emerging markets. Monitor and analyze central bank policies, geopolitical events, and economic indicators to assess impacts on EM currencies and rates markets. Collaborate closely with sales, trading, and research teams to integrate FX strategy into client solutions and trading execution. Produce clear, timely market commentary, strategy reports, and presentations tailored to both internal stakeholders and external clients. Contribute to the development and refinement of quantitative models and scenario analyses to support EM rates and FX forecasting. Represent Société Générale as an expert in emerging markets in client meetings, industry forums, and media engagements, reinforcing the bank’s thought leadership.
