Responsibilities

CPM is responsible for the preparation of credit applications for annual reviews, new transactions, and amendments/waivers of existing transactions, as well as credit monitoring of existing portfolio, and plays an active role in the bank's capital optimization and disciplined portfolio management, as well as increased origination capacity through partnerships and distribution.

Responsabilities:

  • Prepare credit applications for annual reviews, new transactions, as well as amendments and waivers. This includes an analysis of company financial results, strategy, industry, and competitive position; preparation of financial forecasts; and identification of risks (including business, financial, reputational, ESG and credit risks) and mitigants
  • Review legal documentation to ensure terms conform with those presented in credit applications
  • Utilize internal tools to input and spread financial statements, calculate and propose credit ratings, submit credit applications and monitor exposure
  • Liaise with other credit teams (in Canada, US, Europe, and Asia), internal business lines, relationship managers, legal and compliance departments, back-office operations, RISQ
  • Ensure credit files are properly maintained (all approvals and sign offs are filed in the respective electronic files).
