Responsibilities
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible to:
- Design complex IT solutions in area of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, network security and Cloud services.
- Deliver complex projects in international environment and tight schedule.
- Integrate network services with the wider IT and cloud infrastructure.
- Serve as escalation point for operations team.
- Provide support for network infrastructure.
- Maintain documentation.
- Communicate with service providers and partners.
- Strive to improve and modernize network infrastructure.
- Transfer knowledge to other team members.
Maintain skills and knowledge regarding the modern workplace area, keeping up to date with latest technical developments and trends, and feed this knowledge into our internal forums and workgroups.
Primary requirements:
- Enterprise Network Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of routing, switching, Wi-Fi , WAN, SD-WAN.
- Network Security & Zero Trust: Strong experience with Firewalls, Load Balancers, VPN configurations, NAC, proxies etc.
- Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting: General understanding of monitoring tools and troubleshooting principles.
- Vendor & Service Provider Management: Strong ability to govern offshore service providers, ensuring optimal performance and value delivery.
Beneficial Competences:
- Experience with SASE solutions.
- Experience with Aruba and Cisco routing, switching and Wi-Fi solutions.
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, Zscaler, NetScaler, Aryaka.
- Experience with Aruba ClearPass.
- Understanding of cloud networking models (AWS, Azure), direct connects, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Familiarity with Automation & Network Orchestration. For example Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Ability to lead high-impact network incidents, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews.
Proven ability to work across IT teams, cloud architects, and security teams to ensure seamless integration.
