Your Opportunity
Stantec’s Georgia transportation practice is looking for an experienced Roadway Design Engineer to join our team. You will join a full services Stantec delivery team that is successfully delivering quality plans for GDOT, local governments, and private developers.
You will collaborate with Stantec’s Roadway Engineers, Structural Engineers, Traffic Engineers, Transportation Planners, and Environmental Scientists on a wide range of transportation improvement projects. This is an open position, with responsibilities that will vary depending on the selected candidate’s specific skills and experience. You will help our team design a variety of transportation projects, such as intersection, roundabout, arterial widening, interstate widening, and bicycle / pedestrian projects.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Proficiency with Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads
Ability to work in groups or alone. Flexibility.
Good communication skills, multi-tasking, attentiveness to detail.
Willingness to learn new skills and interface with multiple project managers.
Education and Experience
Bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering. Four (4) years of experience in transportation infrastructure projects is preferred. EIT or EI certificate is required with ability to obtain PE license within one (1) year.
