Description:

The role involves working on projects associated with Stormwater & Drainage, Flood Alleviation, Wastewater Networks and Water distribution networks Pumping Station, Recycling Plant. This will involve undertaking investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration and construction supervising & monitoring.

The role will be based in Abu Dhabi.

Key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:

•\tResponsible for site Safety health and environment management.

•\tAssist with the preparation of a construction health and safety plan.

•\tConfirm necessary documentation was submitted to the relevant authorities.

•\tAttend project planning meetings. Attend regular site, technical and progress meetings. Facilitate site health and safety meetings.

•\tEstablish and maintain health and safety communication structures and systems, distribution of health and safety specific documents to sub-contractors.

•\tCompiling project specific emergency response and preparedness plans

•\tTesting the effectiveness of the emergency response plans

•\tConduct site safety inductions.

•\tOversee the reporting and investigation of project related incidents.

•\tDevelopment of technical reports in relation to health and safety issues and communicate through presentations to diverse groups of decision makers

•\tClient Service Management

\tInternal and external client liaison

\tAbility to build and maintain safety environment at site.

\tExperience in infra project HSE supervision Management.

•\tFollow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.

\tComplete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures.

\tMaintain the health and safety environment at workplace.

•\tOther duties as requested from time to time by the Resident Engineer

Title:

HSE Inspector (Drainage Work Projects)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 to 10 years of work experience in safety role.

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related subject,

from a recognized University.

• Certification in NEBOSH General/ Construction Certificate or equivalent

• Experience in SWS water network Infra project is an advantage.
