Description
Project Specialist (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services, Inc; Chandler, AZ): Provide mine ventilation design services for underground mine studies, such as scoping, prefeasibility, feasibility, and detailed design. Design auxiliary and primary ventilation systems. Provide on-site assistance to clients by way of ventilation surveys, audits, and training. Prepare airflow requirements and heat load calculations. Support business development efforts and proposal preparation. Support the development of standards and specifications for the ventilation group. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). #GTM

Qualifications
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Natural Resources Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Natural Resources Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Refrigeration and heating systems; Computer applications, including VentSim and VNetPC; and Mine Health and Safety Regulations.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week, depending on business need.
Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 25%.
Travel to various international locations required up to 10%.
