Description
Civil Engineer (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services, Inc.; Austin, TX): Support civil engineering projects, such as the design of drainage, water, and wastewater systems. Perform engineering calculations for water and wastewater design. Execute site grading design and hydraulic calculations for storm sewer design with oversight by supervisor. Prepare detention and water quality designs by preparing and revising documentation in various civil phases including concepts, entitlement work, due diligence, preliminary site plans, and diagrams. Coordinate with teams on plans and approvals with governing review agencies. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). #GTM #LI-DNI
Qualifications
Requirements:
Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Water and wastewater engineering design, specification preparation, and obtaining agencies approvals; Hydraulic modeling methods and design using AutoCAD Civil 3D, FlowMaster, CulvertMaster, StormCAD, and WaterCAD; and utilizing HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS.
Must have an active U.S. Professional Engineer license.
Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%.
