Your Opportunity
As a Relocation/Acquisition Agent, you will possess an excellent working knowledge of all right of way activities that pertain to business and residential displacements.
Your Key Responsibilities
Provide DSS Inspections as requested.
Negotiate with claimants as requested.
Perform settlement duties with claimants as needed.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Understanding real estate transactions.
Understanding of right of way laws and process.
Knowledge of Department of Transportation's requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret land survey documents and right of way maps.
Familiarity with the provisions of the Federal Uniform Act as it applies to the acquisition of property.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Education and Experience
Real estate license preferred. Strong people skills and negotiation abilities are required.
Position will primarily work in a virtual office setting; will require some field work.
Initial assignment will be in Montgomery County, MD with potential for work in the Fairfax County VA area.
