Project Controls Coordinator

As an integrated project team member, Controls Coordinator provides assistance to the Controls Consultant and Controls Manager with project controls functions including with PMIS data migration, data entry, report development, quality control, and document control. The Controls Coordinator can best achieve these objectives by:
Fully understanding the scope of the program
Working closely with the program team to maintain a current and accurate understanding of project status, issues and changes
Communicating effectively with internal team members, leadership, financial managers, external clients, and consultants
Producing understandable, timely and useful reports
Being vigilant, and keeping the project team informed of barriers deployment of the systems
Understanding Project Controls processes and system(s)
Your Key Responsibilities
Assist with established project control processes and procedures for project execution, including, but not limited to, document management, workflow management, and change management.
Adhere to client and Stantec project management procedures and standards.

Must be proficient in MS Office skills, with advanced skills in MS Excel. Experience with Financial/Cost systems (Oracle, Prolog, etc.) is preferred
Prior work in project controls / project assistant role is a plus
Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry experience preferred
Education and Experience
- Two-year business or related degree preferred with minimum of 1-year appropriate course work in project management, construction management, accounting, finance, or business preferred.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
