Your Opportunity

An opportunity exists for a Treasury Analyst with strong multi-tasking, interpersonal and organizational skills. As a key member of the Financial Services team and business partner with global finance teams, the Treasury Analyst will provide expertise in the day-to-day operations of corporate treasury while adding value to the company. This hybrid opportunity is based in Edmonton, Alberta or Calgary, Alberta.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on daily cash position

  • Administer company bank accounts, including documentation, signing authority and Know Your Client (KYC) banking requirements

  • Involvement in wire transfers and foreign exchange transactions

  • Contribute to cash forecasting, database maintenance, and online banking administration

  • Act as a company resource on treasury management matters and liaison with banks as required

  • Prepare various monthly/quarterly reports

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, practices, procedures

  • Ensure Treasury key controls related to Stantec’s SOX and internal control program are effective and operational

  • Identify and assist with the implementation of business processes improvements

  • Various duties and projects as assigned

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

  • Effective communication skills, including written and oral English language competency

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple competing priorities and firm deadlines

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proactive

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience

  • Business Administration Diploma or an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

  • A minimum of three years experience working in Finance or Treasury

  • Experience with online corporate banking platforms is preferred

  • CTP Designation is preferred

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
