Your Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity based in our Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania office, for a Right of Way Technical Assistant position working with a specific client. This is a part-time position with ability to become full-time (minimum of 20 hours a week). Work would be remote 4 days/week with being in the office 1 day/week.
Your Key Responsibilities
Reports to Project Manager of the specific client
Be present during the working day. (Hours will vary by week, 2 days until 6pm EST)
Answer incoming calls and thoroughly explain the appointment needs and schedule appointments within the client schedule.
Identify voicemails and call clients back to schedule appointments.
Basic office clerical duties including typing, printing and scanning.
Prepare letters to be mailed, print, fold, fill envelopes and stamp.
Review documents, reports, and correspondence for format, content, grammar, and spelling – making edits when necessary.
Review letters and correspondence documents being mailed to clients.
Research through client computer software and hard files as needed.
Possible travel to client sites. (Company car available for travel)
Working with contractor on scheduling conflicts, and schedule changes.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Strong knowledge of office procedures and practices, with high proficiency in MS office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to work with initiative, professionalism, and confidentiality, and can work independently, multi-task and adapt to change in a very dynamic environment.
Possess a “can do” and “will do” attitude while taking charge of any assignment given.
Must have worked in a team environment and understands the importance of being a team player.
Sharp thinker with a keen attention to detail along with strong written and verbal communication.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience
Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 2 year of experience
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
