Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking a Document Control Specialist to join our Program Management team in North Vancouver. This role requires good communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team to successfully deliver major capital projects.
Your Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and enforce established document control processes, systems, and procedures across all project functions.
• Support project managers and team members in complying with client standards, internal procedures, and document management requirements.
• Compile, assemble, and format project documentation, including reports, manuals, and other deliverables.
• Organize and maintain both electronic and hard-copy files, ensuring accurate tracking of internal and external document distribution.
• Process, monitor, and track client and vendor submittals to ensure timely and accurate documentation flow.
• Adhere to record retention policies and ensure proper archiving of project information.
• Uphold quality control standards by ensuring documentation accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Provide general administrative and project support as needed to ensure smooth office and project operations.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Proficient in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat; experience with document management systems is an asset.
Prior experience working on large infrastructure or engineering projects preferred.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a project documentation or document control role highly preferred.
Diploma or associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay Range:
• Locations in Lower Mainland - BC-$50,700.00 - $68,400.00 Annually
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
