Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative support to the Learning & OD and HR teams.

  • Manage the learning mailbox – the main point of contact for all training queries throughout the organization – with a focus on customer and client service. Common items include but are not limited to:- Assistance with Stantec’s learning management systems and dashboards

  • General questions about training courses

  • Processing attendance sheets and course withdrawals

  • Assigning training

  • Providing reports and other data

  • Uploading external certifications

  • Respond to and manage tickets routed to the team from the IT and HR service centers.

  • Provide training on our learning management systems and dashboards to staff.

  • Support the Learning & OD teams with any required integration activities (stemming from company acquisitions, system migrations, etc.).

  • Set up training sessions and course offerings in Stantec’s learning management systems

  • Provide administrative support to groups in the organization who run specific training programs (e.g., project management, leadership, professional training, etc.).

  • Manually create, maintain and deactivate training accounts when required.

  • Attend and participate at regular team meetings

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Experience working with HR or training systems.

  • Solid understanding of MS Office, particularly Outlook & Excel.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong customer focus with exceptional customer service skills.

  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and work independently with minimal supervision.

  • A self-starter with a can-do attitude and willingness to take on multiple tasks and projects.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

Education and Experience

  • 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative or similar systems administration role

  • High school diploma required.
