Consultant or Senior Transport Modeller
Stantec
Stantec has a reputable and well-established Transport Modelling team spread across the UK and we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Consultant or Senior Transport Modeller to join us in our Leeds or Manchester office.
Our team is fortunate to work with excellent clients on some of the UK’s most exciting transport projects. Our client-focused and results-driven approach has enhanced our reputation as one of the leading transport planning consultancies in the UK. The team has grown significantly in recent years, and we are now looking to further strengthen and grow our offering.
We are therefore looking to recruit an experienced Consultant or Senior Transport Modeller with strong technical and project delivery skills, proficient in strategic traffic modelling using at least one of SATURN , VISUM or Cube and preferably with capabilities in task delivery, strong technical skills, and report writing and ambitions to learn other strategic modelling software.
The successful candidate will play a role in the technical delivery of transport modelling projects for a diverse client base, with support from more junior team members. They will be responsible for assisting in developing, calibrating, validating, and applying Strategic Transport models using SATURN, VISUM and Cube to support the appraisal, development, and implementation of various transport schemes and strategies. Communicating modelling results clearly through reports and presentations will be essential, along with staying informed on the latest transport policy, guidance, and best practices.
In addition to technical responsibilities, the candidate will provide mentorship to junior modellers, ensuring high-quality and consistent outputs. The role offers opportunities to contribute to an experienced team, with clear potential for career progression and personal growth through projects with influential clients on high-impact projects.
