Your Opportunity
Stantec has an immediate opening for a full time Civil Engineer in Training (EIT) with structural/civil engineering experience in our Las Cruces, NM office location.
Your Key Responsibilities
Organizing and maintaining a digital file database for each project using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) software.
Facilitating and ensuring the quality of the drawings and graphic work produced for the team.
Communicating with other team members during the 3D model and plan production.
Understanding ACC file structures and modifications to files for exchanges with other team members.
Creating and understanding custom templates using Autodesk software
Ensure CAD standards and styles, quality assurance and quality control procedures are followed during drawing planning and production.
Work to meet project timelines.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Proficiency in either AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred (ACC training can be provided).
Strong attention to detail and presentation.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a “team player” approach to design and problem solving.
Ability to work within a team, sharing workloads to meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products.
Education and Experience
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
A minimum of 2 years of roadway, utility, or rail projects experience is required.
Fundamentals of Engineering Certification preferred.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
