We are seeking motivated professionals to join our high performing Water Division and assist on our water infrastructure projects based in our Brisbane office. Our projects span the lifecycle of project delivery from feasibility studies through to detailed design packages for construction. We always search for and deliver innovation and value to our clients in what we do.

About the role:

In this position you will play an integral role amongst a diverse group of highly skilled professionals that ‘design with community in mind' to deliver program and project excellence for our water clients in both metropolitan, regional, and remote contexts.

We have a healthy workload focused on water supply and sewerage schemes with key water authorities in South-East Queensland and as such, we are seeking determined professionals to join our thriving team. You will join a dynamic and skilled team that works on water infrastructure projects, not only locally, but across the APAC region.

As a Senior Civil Engineer , you will provide professional engineering skills in the areas of water and wastewater infrastructure along with the following:

  • Perform civil engineering tasks as assigned by the lead engineer which may include engineering drawings, calculations, reports, design criteria, to support our water infrastructure projects.

  • Assist with developing and managing the project scope including cost estimates, budget, staffing and schedule.

  • Work collaboratively with our local clients and colleagues across SEQ, Australia and the wider Asia pacific business.

  • Partner with a diverse client base from local government, industry and private development.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.

  • Chartership/ RPEQ or working towards is highly regarded.

  • Relevant professional experience in consulting or engineering within the water industry.

  • Strong technical experience in potable water supply, gravity and pumped sewerage systems, and recycled water networks.

  • Experience in water and wastewater treatment plants for regional and urban water authorities (highly desirable but not essential).

  • Expertise with dealing with a range of clients and stakeholders including local authorities, government bodies and commercial companies.
