What do our Graduate Geotechnical Engineers do?

Our Auckland based Graduate Geotechnical Engineer will be a vital contributor to a range of projects delivering improved outcomes for our community including flood recovery works.

Our commitment to sustainability shines through in all we do, and we aim to support the environment through our charitable and volunteer efforts too. It’s all part of preserving the beautiful backdrop that we enjoy ourselves—whether it be hiking, mountain biking, fishing, swimming or surfing.

Day to day tasks would involve:

• Working alongside other junior, intermediate and senior geotechnical staff.

• Assisting with site inspections, field investigations and construction supervision.

• Producing ground models and geotechnical reports.

• Geotechnical design and analysis including foundation designs, retaining wall designs, slope assessments etc.

• Delivering geotechnical project inputs to the agreed outputs on budget, on time and to agreed quality standards.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

You’ll be as committed as we are to improving the communities, we live in . We’re seeking individuals who thrive on thinking outside the box. Your ability to come up with fresh ideas and contribute to practical design solutions will be invaluable.

You will have a Qualification in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology with a passion for transportation and infrastructure design.

Eligibility :

• Be a recent graduate or due to finish studies by December 2026

• Preferably have a full clean current driving licence

• Working Rights: Student Visa, Permanent Resident, Citizen
