Stantec is seeking a Water Resources Engineer/Designer to serve our government, industrial, and commercial clients from out of Virginia. You will participate in the review and implementation of various water resources and environmental engineering projects. You will work under limited supervision of senior engineers, and as a team member of project managers, water resource engineers, GIS analysts and environmental scientists.
Your Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a combination of education and experience in Water Resources/Environmental engineering/designing including:
Water Resources engineering and design
Project management of ecosystem restoration design/build projects (all phases)
In-River restoration expertise
Whitewater kayaking expertise
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Hydrologic/hydraulic modeling
Design and construction oversight
Excellent writing skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel
Education and Experience
B.S. Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Environmental/Water Resources Engineering Design

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
